True friends are people who are there with you through thick and thin. Even when they can't be there for you physically, you just know they are there beside you in thought and prayers. They are the ones who always encourage you to do your best, but also tell you the truth straight out. True friends are those who make room for you no matter what; they put up with your little idiosyncrasies and try hard to over look your irritating habits.
Friends expect you to love them in return as well and they hold you to the highest standard of respect. You never have to worry about deception because your true friends will never lie to you or betray your trust in anyway. They are not afraid to open up and share their deepest thoughts, dreams and desires with you. They will protect you when needed and put you in your place when necessary. Friends love you no matter what mistakes you make and remain your friend even when you make them angry. They always try to help you to be the best you that you can be.......even if it hurts you to hear the truth.
I am so very grateful for my true friends. I pray that God will make me worthy of them and help me to be a true friend in return. I could go on and on but this is all I'm going to say about this.......for now.
