A Thought About Change

Some people don't take change well. I am definitely one of those people.  I tend to do much better when I know exactly where I'm going and when I've planned exactly how I will get there.
I also work better on a schedule, so, when life throws me a curve ball I'm not always happy about it. Sometimes I spend so long looking at the closed door and trying to pry it open that I forget that sometimes God opens a window.
There are times when God opens obvious doors. Other times he closes them tightly. Sometimes, for all of us, that can seem very painful, especially when we can't see any windows opening right away.
However, God doesn't shut doors unless he has something better for you. I've learned this first hand over the years.  God is so faithful. He is the constant that never changes.

In the end I just need to be sure to trust and follow as the right doors are open for me.  One good thing that God has blessed me with is the ability to get over things fast, once the initial shock dissipates. I'm glad I have an unchanging God especially when the winds of life blow in so many directions. That's all I'll say about that....for now.
